About Puppy care Program
Why Special Care?
Ah, puppies! They are just the most darling little creatures with their wagging tails and puppy eyes. I remember when my own sweet pup was just a wee thing and needed all sorts of special care. It’s a delicate time, around 4 to 12 weeks of age, when they are at their most vulnerable to illnesses like parvovirus and distemper. I made sure to give my little one all the extra love and attention they needed during this period. It truly is a joy to watch them grow and mature into healthy, happy dogs.
SERVICES OFFERED
VACCINES
Cats and Dogs
Starting at 6-8 weeks of age, kittens require 3 booster vaccines, along with regular deworming. After the initial “new pet” vaccines, these become annual visits; with rabies vaccines due every 3 years.
WELLNESS EXAM
Puppy and Kitten Wellness Exams
Because puppies and kittens have less developed immune systems, they are far more vulnerable to disease and parasitic infection. Thus a thorough exam is performed on your pet upon arrival. If needed, any other diagnostic procedures that the vet recommends, will be discussed during your visit.
Adult Wellness exams
Similar to a younger pet exam, Doctor will examine your adult pet from head-to-tail, inspecting all of the central organs, checking joint functioning, and recording vital statistics to ensure normality. If there are any pressing irregularities, lab tests or X-rays might be necessary.
Senior Wellness exams
Did you know that at the age of 7, your pet is now considered a senior? Although you may not see any signs of change, their physical and nutritional needs often change. These changes are discussed during your visit with us.
